Securing your Armor (Breastplate)

is synonymous with submitting to Christ.

The breastplate protects your guts. Commonly an enemy seeks to puncture your stomach to ensure that you bleed out and that your chances of recovery are less. We like to call our hearts the center of our emotions. The pulsating muscle in the central chest region. But in the ancient world, this center was the belly. The heart of the person was called the belly. Jesus said He that believeth on me as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38). 3/20/2021

CAUSE: “For he put on righteousness as a breastplate” (Isaiah 59:17).

EFFECT: “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee” Psalm 91:7.

Rating: 1 out of 5.
